B) OBIETTIVI DA CONSEGUIRE
1. Competenze e capacità
  • Historical analysis and interpretation: ability to analyze historical events, understand the interconnectedness of causes and effects, and interpret primary and secondary sources (e.g., speeches, economic data, news articles).
  • Critical thinking: ability to assess the effectiveness of various economic and political responses to the crisis (e.g., comparing Hoover’s and Roosevelt’s policies).
  • Use of economic terminology: ability to understand and apply terms such as "recession," "deflation," "bankruptcy," "unemployment rate," and "New Deal."
  • Debate and discussion: ability to participate in discussions about the causes, responses, and long-term effects of the Great Depression, supporting arguments with evidence.
